Abstract

Community awareness plays a critical role in preventing chronic diseases such as diabetes mellitus. This study explored the impact of creative health education strategies on improving public understanding of diabetes prevention. A community-based quasi-experimental design was implemented involving 85 participants from urban communities. Educational interventions included interactive workshops, visual media campaigns, and community engagement activities. Results indicated significant improvements in participants’ knowledge regarding healthy lifestyles, dietary management, and early diabetes prevention behaviors. Participants also demonstrated increased motivation to adopt healthier habits after the intervention program. The study suggests that creative and participatory health education approaches can effectively strengthen preventive healthcare efforts within communities.
