Abstract

A supportive work environment is essential for maintaining high-quality nursing services and patient safety. This study investigated the relationship between nurse work environment factors and the quality of patient care in public hospitals. A cross-sectional study was conducted among 150 registered nurses from three hospitals using validated workplace and patient-care quality questionnaires. Statistical analysis showed a strong positive relationship between workplace support, teamwork, leadership quality, and patient care outcomes. Nurses working in positive environments reported better job satisfaction, lower burnout levels, and improved patient communication. The findings emphasize the importance of organizational support and healthy workplace culture in achieving optimal healthcare service quality.
